Introduction

Clinical Projects or Networks (workstreams) have been developed where PiP members have identified services in particular need of improvement. In the main, PiP has concentrated on services where there is a potential for networking and collaborative working with a wide range of partners.

Each worksteam has a chair (or joint chairs) and Terms of Reference which are regularly reviewed.

The work is managed by a working / steering group, which reports to the PiP Board.

There is a constant tension between developing new workstreams and providing adequate resources to service the existing workstreams to the level that is required.

Effecting service change to fulfill our aim -  "to improve quality and accessibility of children's services"  - takes a long time, therefore we strive to develop strong working relationships with those involved in commissioning services.

If you would like to be involved, or kept informed of progress, please contact the chair / project leader, who can be found by accessing the respective project page.
